Rent out

Rent out

Want to rent out your home in Maastricht and the surrounding area?

There could be several reasons for this:

  • You are going abroad (temporarily)
  • You own multiple homes
  • You are a real estate investor

The rental process is often complex and has various pitfalls. For example, think of avoiding unwanted tenants, determining the right rental price, and arranging the necessary permits. With our expertise and thorough knowledge of current legislation and regulations, both at national and municipal level, we ensure that you can leave this process to us with confidence.

We combine personal service with professional advice to completely unburden you. From finding a reliable tenant to drawing up a watertight lease, we guide you every step of the way. At Slijpen Real Estate, it's not just about speed and efficiency, but also about care and reliability. You can trust that your home is in good hands and that we strive for a rental experience that runs smoothly and safely.

With Slijpen Real Estate you choose a partner who puts your interests first and guarantees a successful rental process.

Slijpen Real Estate does the following for you when mediating a rental property:

  • Inventory and advice: We inventory and optimize the property and give advice on the (market-conform) rent and presentation. This includes a points count according to the (new) property valuation system, and determining service costs and/or an advance on GWE.
  • Marketing and promotion: Providing professional photos, Dutch and English texts, and advertising your property via various platforms such as Pararius, Huurwoningen, IamExpat, Kamernet and our own website and Social media. In addition, we actively offer the property via our network of housing contacts from companies and Relocation agencies.
  • Viewings: Organizing and supervising viewings with potential tenants.
  • Screening and selection: Screening interested candidate tenants, introducing them to you and advising you to make the right choice.
  • Rental agreement: Drawing up a legally recognised rental agreement, with advice on the various contract forms and, if required, an English translation.
  • Payment control: Ensure receipt of the first payment.
  • Check-in and key transfer: Arranging the check-in and key transfer, including a comprehensive inspection report with photos and meter readings.
  • Interim inspection: Carrying out interim inspections if required.
  • Check-out and key transfer: Supervise the check-out and key transfer, make an inspection report, and calculate any differences between check-in and check-out in order to draw up a deposit calculation.
  • Continuous occupancy:
  • Ensure that the rental process is started in a timely manner in order to prevent vacancy.
